Yes, a hundred times yes!
Ewan McGregor will return to shine once again, as the beloved Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new show produced for Disney’s D+ subscription service. The original flick was actually meant for the big screen, but due to the low box office performance of the other Star Wars spin-offs Han Solo and Rogue One, it was canned. Nevertheless, people will still get what they want and loads more of it, so no one’s complaining. Though, of course, you’ll have to splash some cash on one more streaming provider and who’s to say if it would be good enough overall to add to your Netflix, Now TV and Amazon portfolio. D+ would launch in the US in November this year.
Not much more has been confirmed, besides that shooting begins in 2020.
Now, my question is – where is that Yoda film?!? I’m not fussy, I’ll be OK with series too. Just please make it happen, Disney. Deal?
